Pain near ball of foot?
Question:
I'd love to know what is causing this, if there's anyone who can give me any ideas! Thanks!
Answers:
sounds like you need to check out this great website, myfootshop.com, that offers educational descriptions of foot/ankle conditions and OTC products that may help you avoid the doctor. If you continue to have discomfort and the suggestions on the site do not help i would try going to a podiatrist. Good luck!
Other Answers:
It is most likely arthritis. I have this in both feet. I discovered what it was when I broke my foot and had x-rays taken. Get a good pair of shoes with inserts. Go to a shoe store (not Payless) that will help you get a pair of shoes that will help your feet.
Sounds like maybe plantar fascitis. I work on alot of that with my clients (I am a massage Therapist)
Plantar faciitis - Some remedies include rolling your foot across a rolling pin, massage, etc.
First off, seriously consider changing your shoes. I've had it for several years and switching to Birkenstocks has relieved much of my morning pain. Those may not be your style but your shoes are contributing to the problem.
go to www.webmd.com search for plantar and it will bring up lots of articles on this condition.
