Unpainful is not a word. The least painful way to die is in one's sleep (notwithstanding a stroke or some kind of shock beforehand). If you are suicidal, please consider seeking help.

Edited to add: I know three people who shot themselves. It is NOT painless and it does not always work.

Why ask questions like this ?? do you not know that life is so very very precious !!!! i see people everywhere with broken hearts, disabled and with cancer , who wants to live, but they will not see their children grow up !! and they know what the cost of life is!!

I disagree, I think the worse way to die would be going up in flames. Like being burnt at the stake. Could you imagine smelling your own flesh as it burns??

Suicide is generally painful in one way or another. Trust me, as an EMT, I see people screw it up all the time.

If you are contemplating suicide, I beg of you: seek psychiatric help immediately... If you dont know how to do this, go to any hospital emergency department and tell them that you are contemplating suicide. They can help you.

If you are really intent on this, at least give seeking help a shot.

My guess would be death caused by falling from a high altitude. Death would be instantaneous.

Seriously, downing isn't as bad as everyone thinks. Once you suck in the water, it's very peaceful for several moments until you black out.

A powerful gunshot (not shotgun) through the back of the head (via the mouth) will instantly sever the spinal nerve attachments to your body, so you won't feel anything - just go black instantly.

Jumping off a skyscraper or out of a plane, head-first would be fast. Plus, you may pass out on the way down if you are high enough.

evidently your question is just for attention and that's beyond sad. if you really wanted to off yourself, you wouldn't be in youqa.coms and that's for damn sure. there is no way to die that's painless, unless it's natural and you go in your sleep. there are consequences for everything that we do in life. if you're looking for a short cut, it ain't gonna happen.

Leathal injection like they give our lucky criminals. The only painful thing about it is when they prick you for the shot. Its like when you go in for a surgery and you are put under. You feel a little high, drowzi, or woozi and then you are out like a lite in a few seconds and then you don't feel a thing even when they cut you open any place on your body. Poor sickly elderlies who have to suffer the pain because there isn't an easy way out of this worldfor them like the way the criminals go.

Sweet person, ur obviously in alot of pain, i knew the darkest place imaginable... and i am not sure how i still exist, i should have gone forever. Please don't think ur alone, I'm out here and i feel your pain i know that pain, then there are the people that love you....be kind to yourself right now while your doing the hardest yards, u know you need some extra special care, Go to that person you can trust.

You people are all sick. I can't actually believe that some of you have actually gives suggestions to help this person that obviously is in need of help solutions in how to kill yourself. You guys are just as sick. What if a friend said to you 'Oh I want to kill myself, would you give me some advice on how to do it?'. Listen if your feeling suicidal speak to someone who cares somebody that will listen and help you get some help, do not take any suggestions that have been mentioned into account as these people do not know you, so why would they want the best for you.
