what causes a kidney infection?
Question:
Answers:
I suffer from recurring bladder infections and once I got a kidney infection because bladder infections often turn into kidney infections when left untreated. Are you getting symptoms of bladder infections and not going to the Dr.? Also, some people don't get symptoms, so I guess that could be the case with you. I know that sex can cause bladder and kidney infections because the rubbing and friction can take bacteria from the vagina and the penis and rub it into your clitoral area and cause infection in the bladder and/or kidneys. If you think this may be causing it, you and your partner need to shower or at least wipe down there with a baby wipe prior to sex, and then you need to shower afterwards. What you probably need is to see a doctor and discuss why this is recurring and they need to run some tests to see if there's any other underlying problems with your kidneys. This is serious, and not something to mess around with, so please get it checked out asap. If your doctor doesn't seem to know what they are doing, ask for a referral to a specialist, like a urologist. Good luck.
