What are three organs involved in digestion?

Question:

Answers:
Digestion actually starts in the mouth, since your saliva has enzymes that start to break down the food. Then food travels to the stomach which mushes into a liquidy form and pushes it into the small intestine where nutrients are absorbed and dispersed into the body. The gallbladder, pancreas, and liver all excrete enzymes that help with the digestion process. The gallbladder helps to break down fats, the pancreas produces insulin to turn sugars into glucose which the bodys cells can use, and the liver excretes different enzymes that help to break down the food. Then the food travels to the large intestine where it continues absorbing and extracting water and nutrients. The final stop is the rectum, and we all know what happens after that...
stomach. large intestine. small intestine.
