Have below normal temp?
Question:
Answers:
98.6 is an average it is a plus or minus a degree and actually varies from age group to age group. Most physicians will not consider a person to have a fever unless it is above 100.6 or hypothermic (too cold) unless it is below 96.
Other Answers:
I don't know. I always run below normal. like 96.4. Normal is a fever for me.
My tempature is almost always low 97.something. If I get up to the average human tempature I start feeling feverish. Maybe you too just are a little below the average normally and something else is making you feel ill.
Technically your temperature is in what those of us in the field call a normal range and is probably not what is making you feel rotten. Have you seen a doctor for your UTI? While things like cranberry juice and OTC remedies may help to alleviate symptoms. The only way to really get rid of the infection is to take antibiotics which require a prescription. Your temp could be down if you are taking pain relievers such as acetamenophin (Tylenol) or ibuprophen (Advil, Motrin)
