Medical Question!!!!!!?

Question:
Hi I have a hard time swallowing food and drinks because of this hurting feeling in the middle of my breast bone. I do have a little bit of an ear ache and my mom said it might be a chest cold. But I have no idea what it is I have had it for 4 days. Any Doctors please help!!!!!!

Answers:
Difficulty when swallowing is the sensation that food is stuck in the throat or upper chest. This may be felt high in the neck or lower down, behind the breastbone (sternum).
Problems at any point -- from chewing food and moving it into the back of the mouth, to moving the food into the stomach -- can result in difficulty swallowing.

Frequently, symptoms of chest pain, food stuck in the throat, heaviness or pressure in the neck or upper chest, are the result of swallowing difficulties.

Eat slowly, and chew food thoroughly.
Home Remedies:
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) helps in reducing spasms and swelling. It relieves pain that affects the gastrointestinal tract. Avoid taking it for longer periods if suffering from blood pressure. A dose of 380 to 1,140 mg per day is recommended.

Slippery elm (Ulmus fulva) protects irritated tissues and promotes healing. A dose of 60 to 320 mg per day is advised. Mix 1 tsp. of slippery elm powder with water and have it three to four times a day.

You can also use these herbs Valerian (Valeriana officinalis), Wild yam (Dioscorea villosa), St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum), Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) and Linden flowers (Tilia cordata) in tincture or tea form. For the tea, use 1 tsp each of these herbs for 1 cup of water to be steeped for 10 minutes. Drink it three times a day. In tincture form use equal parts of these herbs 30 to 60 drops three times a day.

Call your doctor if the problem continues, even if the symptoms are intermittent.

sounds like a sore throat.
Please go to the Dr. Never ask for medical advice from anyone else, it could be deadly!
I can't believe your mom hasn't taken you to the doctors yet......................get it checked out
My friend, you cannot be diagnosed online. Not even by a doctor. Make an appointment to see your primary care provider for an exam. The only way you can get a legitimate and accurate diagnosis is to be seen and evaluated by a licensed physician, nurse practitioner or physican assistant. Please do this.
