Itching of skin?

Question:
I have itching along the top of my chest and neck on the left side. Now there are some moles and skin tags. What is causing all of this? It is driving me crazy!

Answers:
The itching is your skin tags or you most likely have some type of contact dermatitis; however I would see a doctor to make sure its not something worse. Skin tags may at sometimes itch but they are always begnin and can be removed surgically or frozen off. Skin cancers start as a small, pink, pearly or waxy spot, often circular or oval in shape. As they grow, they become a raised, flat spot with a 'rolled' edge and they may develop a crust. Next, they begin to bleed from the center and an ulcer develops. This is called a rodent ulcer and, if left long enough, it can become quite large and eat away the skin and tissue below. Sorry, not trying to scare you; I just thought you should now of the other symptoms just in case. Take some benadryl over the counter every six hours it may alleviate the itching if its contact dermatitis. Some things that cause contact dermatitis (allergies) are new detergents, new foods, new medicines a new pet. Shingles are extremely painful and you generally don't get on your chest. What ever it is I hope you get better
I don't know, but I would go to the doctor.
