Go find another doctor. You don't need to be treated like that.

sounds like you need not only a second opinion, but you need a first one, from a new doctor, move on.
get a second opinion from another doctor..or change doctors completely.
Nope/ but I am really curious if there is anyone that knows him..
whoa..aren't doctor's supposed to encourage getting a second opinion? Get another Dr. He's a dweeb.
I don't know this Dr. but it sounds to me like he has somewhat of a "god complex" and it's time to find a new one.
When a Dr. no longer listens to or respects his patients, it's time for those patients to move on.
I think you should get a new doctor. I'd suggest getting recommendations from friends first.
This is the good 'ol USA. There are many doctors. You don't have to stick with one you're unhappy with. It's not as if the next doctor is 350 miles away.
Maybe he has been watching House on tv, and likes the way Dr. Gregory House is rude & sarcastic, and has a terrible bedside manner.
Seriously though, if you are not comfortable with your doctor, or feel that he is not giving you proper or complete care you require, whether it be for tests or just his opinion or time to let you ask your questions, I would arrange to change doctors.
Call your local hospital and ask if there are any doctors accepting new patients.
You pay for the service, if you are not happy, don't put up with it.
Good luck to you.
I don't know who this doctor is, but I can tell you that if you are having problems with him then chances are other people are too. I don't think that anyone should stay with a doctor that they are not comfortable with. Too many people do because it is easier than switching. This is not right. If your doctor is not pleasant to deal with, then he should not be your doctor anymore. Remember, when you see a physician you are basically hiring then for their skill. You would not put up with that type of behavior from an employee. The same thinking should be applied here.
Good luck!
He may be a Dr. that has been practicing for awhile and he may have been offended more than once by your questions. It is not your fault for questioning his credentials. You may want to look for a new Dr. now, because he knows that when you come in to see him, you may question him again. Dr's are very proud and some pom pas. Some of us look at them as gods for all the good they do, but to question them as you have done, is something that some of them can not take very well. But it is your job to do that to make sure your care is the best you can get.
