an allergy

I would have to wonder if there were some poison ivy vines twined in with the berry bushes.
Rush directly to the medicine cabinet and immediately squirt the whole bottle of cortizone on it and rub in.
Sounds like you got into some poison ivy or oak or sumac along the way.
Your skin is irritated, so use some calimine lotion or take an Aveeno bath.
poison ivy or an allergic reaction you probably shouldnt go blueberry picking any more
most likely poison ivey--seek medical help
You are allergic to something you walked through. Take a benadryl. If it doesn't get better, you need to see a dr. It might be poison ivy which you need an antibiotic for.
Get some Cortisone cream for itching at the pharmacy or see a doctor.
poison ivy?
you probably had an allergic reaction to the bush itself.
try taking oral benadryl 25-50mg tablets-one every 4-6 hours as needed. be careful when taking these b/c they most commonly make people sleepy.
you can also try hydrocortisone cream or benadryl cream on the rash itself-it will help relieve the itching.
take motrin 200-400mg every 6 hours for pain and swelling but do not take more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
do not apply any lotions or ointments to the rash-you can irritate it more-causing it to get worse and itch more.
if the rash and itching doesn't start to subside with the benadryl treatment within 24-48 hours-i would make an appt to see your dr. so he/she can prescribe you an oral antibiotic to help treat the allergic reaction.
I suggest you go use an anti-itch ointment and go to the doctor as soon as possible. I was exposed to poison ivy before and that's probably what you've experienced. You should report to your doctor asap.
Treat it LIBERALLY with MAALOX. Yes that stuff for up-set tummies. And as I told the Pharmacist whom recommended it to me, " that's an an-acid, isn't it?" and she said " well duuuuu". Works on most poisons, ivy, oak, etc. and is a lot faster acting on acne than that expensive proactive crap and costs one heck of a lot less. She did say it is brand specific and my own experiments with other an-acids bears out her claim.
