Irritable Bowl Syndrome & Gas Pains?

Question:
I have IBS and not been able to go to the bathroom on a regular basis, having a lot of gas in your system can it cause for your upper back to hurt, just below your shoulder? everytime i cough or take a deep breathe, it hurts.

Answers:
There is no question that IBS plus gas can reek havoc on your whole body.
Gas can be very painful and leave one bloated and even with heartburn but I am not sure what you describe is from your IBS unless the gas is causing you to have some acid reflux which can feel like its in your upper back.

The best way to find out would be to get your bowels moving either with a natural fiber laxative or an enema.
I have IBS-D and I know how gas can make one feel really sick.
