What are some common car accudent injuries!?

Question:
I has in a car accident a week ago and im trying to figure out if all the pain I am feeling is from the accident.

Answers:
Well I've seen a few traumatic aortic ruptures in my life, they are common in high speed side impacts (t-bone). Head on collisions produce traumatic head injuries when you go "up and over" and pelvic fractures in the "down and under." All nasty things to have.

Other Answers:
Well, I broke my hand. if you wore a seatbelt, you can break ribs, or even just bruise them. You can get whiplash. You can have general muscle soreness. What/where is the pain? and when did it start?
You can get bad bruises and broken bones. Whiplash and back injuries are common as well.
It depends on impact and weather you were restrained and if there was an airbag deployed. In any accident there is potential for numerous types of injuries. You may have the triad which are shoulder chest and hips from a seat belt or facial abrasions broken nose and sore arms from airbag or even bruised knees from impact with the dash.

It is not uncommon to experience aches and pains from being bounced around. If you have not been checked out by a physician you need to do so as some injuries may not be obvious but if left untreated can be debilitating or even fatal.
Sometimes, especially when you see it coming, we get an adreniline rush and we tense up. If you hurt all over, this could be the reason.
i also was involved in a very serious one. i smashed my head (jaws, noise, cheeks, etc)on the steering wheel. ever since my brain makes noizes when i move my head. but then again i really hit hard the %$^%@# steering wheel and it didn;t do much better. it broke just like me. actually the car was completely destroyed.

all the above is true.
The only one that can answer this question is a physician. You must seek a physician's advise to be sure. The physician can determine whether there is any injury first, and what level of injury, if any.
You said you were in a car accident a week ago. Does you neck hurt? you could have whip lash.

i had a serious car accident back in 1989, i still feel some affects from it.i broke my ribs, wrist, bruised my heart, broke my pelvic bone both sides, could not walk for 4 months but through alot of physical therapy its better now. what you need to do is go to your family dr. or hospital to get checked out for sure if the pain keeps continuing or gets worse. good luck to you sweetie.hope u feel better.
Your muscles are going to be sore for a while. When you are in a car accident you usually do not feel any pain the first day, and it is not until the next day when all of a sudden you feel like you had just been beat up. This should go away but if it doesn't maybe go to the doctor to make sure you don't have any broken bones.
