If you are a smoker, quit! Being a smoker, I know that this is what made my cholesterol go up. There have actually been no ties to eating food high in cholesterol and your particular cholesterol levels. Still, watching fatty foods, cheeses and butter can't hurt. There are several medications out on the market available through prescription that can aide in lowering cholesterol. However, these tend to have some side effects such as raising your liver enzymes. Once on a medication, you will have to get constant blood tests and, most likely, stay on that medication for life. I would keep up the exercise and watch the diet...
Keep an eye on your cholesterol. Know what is good and what is not. Get plenty of exercise and put good cholesterol into Yahoo search and read up more about it. Here are a few sites to get you started.
