Is there a Pediatrician in the house?

Question:
My son grinds his teeth while he's asleep. we've already taken him to a doc and they say it's fine, but it doesn't "sound" fine. i don't like giving him any type of sugar or caffeine, what causes such a tendency?

Answers:
It's called "Bruxism". Here's a Google search on it.

It's normal. Sugar of Caffeine won't make this occur. If your son has permanent adult teeth then I would buy him a mouth piece (a rubber piece that keeps the teeth from breaking - mostly used when fighting). If your son has his baby teeth then I wouldn't worry. They usually grow out of it.
