Question aboutinfection in ear spacers??

Question:
well I stretched my ears out to about a 0gage(like 4 years ago) now i think they are infected.. They are red and theyare sore... what is better to clean with alcohol rub or peroxide? and how else can I make them not infected!?!?!

Answers:
rubbing alcolol and peroxide, contrary to popular beliefe, are both a waste of time and money when it comes to infection. All they do is dry out and kill the affected tissues impersonating healing. You need to get bactine or anothe type of antibiotic liquid and use that to clean and treat the infected area. In between, since you have quite a hole there, use polysporin or neosporin to protect and help it to heal faster. Take Ibuprofin for pain and even if its not hurting a lot, take it anyway, it will help with the inflamation. A little ice when you can will also help with comfort, but make sure only to ice the lobes, dont let the ice cool down the inside of the ear, just the piercing. Good luck
peroxide
