Anyone had there drink spiked?

Question:

I went out last night and only had 3 glasses of wine, all of a sudden I became unwell and on checking on the net today, my symptoms match up. I normally can drink a lot more than I had last night, so something must be up!

I've had my drink spiked before - not a nice experience. Was luckily with some friends who kept me safe. However, I am also a right light weight when it comes to boozing especially if I haven't had anything to eat, if I'm tired or in the heat. If it happens again after you drink so little - get to hospital! A blood test will show up if you've been spiked or not. Take care out there! x

Scarey! you poor thing. i have never had it done to me, but if i were you i would report it to the local police. Chances are you werent the only one it happened to last night.

i'd never waste my drugs i paid for spiking a strangers drink i'd spike my own...

Yes! It's a totally irresponsible thing to do. Always, always keep a check on your drink. It happened to me many years ago but luckily I was with some good friends who realised what had happened and took care of me. Whether the drink is spiked with vodka or drugs it can lead you into a dangerous situation. Glad that you have no lastling ill effects.

never has happened to me. if i go out to drink i make sure i get the drink myself. but now i dont go out to drin, only go out with friends sometimes. stay home to drink a little of wine sometimes. yes always becareful about someone trying to spike your drink if you are out at a club.

Yeah I have had someone try to poison me like that once.
Now I don't ever let my drink out of my site and or hand.
I was very sick for about 24 hours and then weak for a couple of days after that.
As for your experience I can not say if that was a symptom of spiking or just a adverse reaction from your body.
We all have chemical changes in our systems that will allow or disallow us to drink what we perceive to be normal or abnormal quantities.
If I were you I would think back as best as possible who was around you who showed you more attention than normal and when you were away from your glass long enough for this to have happened and then go from there.

Thats a horrid thing to do isn't it. I know it can lead to a more serious situation for girls. I had my drinks spiked on my 18th birthday and all of a sudden felt horrid and was very ill. It ruined my evening. My mates admitted putting extra vodka in some alcopops I was drinking. They thought it was funny but it turned out I had been spiked the equivalent of half a bottle of vodka in about an hour.
You might want to report it to the police if you have an idea as to where it happened. Other people may have had the same thing

about 2 years ago, i went to a cub i had a double vodka and glass of wine,, then several hours later which i thought was around 20 minutes started to come back to reality,, just lost all sense of time, like id blacked out but was awake,,been told since it was probably date rape stuff...

my mate got spike when we was on a night out. it stund her legs and was lifeless. was so scary its just a good job we was there of her. i'd hate to think what could of happened.
glad your safe hun. you'll just have to keep your drink with you at all times. if you put it down somewhere n take your eye off it just buy a new drink its just not worth it. thats what me and my friends do now.

Twice. First time was with friends and i only had about 2 pints and needed to go home. Drove home, conked out.

Second time i had a few pints but to go home and wake up and not know what happened....only 4 pints. Not possible.

Yes Twice and I was at a private party with 'So Called' friends.
Needless to say I have never been back!
