I'm waking up in the morning with charlie horses in either leg and sometimes my feet.?

Question:
This has gone on for about 2 months now. I drink a lot of water, probably at least 12 cups a day. I take 9600 mg of calcium each day along with calcium foods in my diet. I eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. Is there something else I can do to prevent this painful alarm clock?

Maybe you are having some circulation problems....and make sure you have enough potassium in your diet....lack of potassium can cause cramps.
Sleep App. can cause you not to be getting enough air as you sleep…causing a circulation issue, not enough potassium (eat a banana) or it could be your exercising to hard before you hit the sack every night and not starching out your muscle…before you go to sleep leaving them strianed...how do you sleep maybe you should change you leg positions maybe try elevating your legs a little with pillows or sleep with your legs bent or curved a little. If you try these idea and your still having issues talk with your doctor about possibilities
