Can Tylenol PM cause liver damage if I only take 2 every night?

Question:
If I stop taking them now..will I be okay probably, if they cause damage?

Answers:
Over the short term is shouldn't cause any major damage, but you should be very carful taking anything like that over the long term if not perscribed by a doctor. The liver cleans out the system, but there are minute traces of toxins and drugs that get left behind that build up over time and will eventually render the liver unable to process things that are in the system. please ask a doctor about your use.

Other Answers:
it's unlikely you would have liver damage from that low of a dose, it's the people who take it every 4 hours every single day after day that wind up in trouble. As long as you follow the guidelines on the box about the amount to take in 1 day you should be ok. My father is 83 as of tomm and he has taken it every night to sleep since it came out and he's ok.

Highly unlikely, but you best ask a medical professional.. tylenols are worse if combined with alcohol like in cough syrups or drinks so dont use it as a hangover cure try some thing else like nuprin or advil but watch the dose

i hope not i take the every night too

taking two every night.for how long? over time, it probably could cause some internal damage. you should probably stop taking the pain killer and maybe see a physician.

If that is the normal recommended dose it should be safe, UNLESS there is something already wrong with your liver or you are taking additional medications (or alcohol) that might make your liver more prone to damage. probably not.

Probably not, unless you have some liver problem already such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, or any of the chronic liver diseases. Also, drinking excessive amounts of alcohol won't help.

Two every night---wow, that's a bit much. Whatever your problem is, you shouldn't be taking that many EVERY night. Yes, it can damage your body. On the bottle it should say how many, at the max. to consume before there's a problem.

Well I hope that was helpful.
