Working remedy for tension: When I'm at work writing I build tremendous body tension; how can I release it?

Question:
It's the most uncomfortable feeling throughout my body, as if every fiber were straining in a galvanic charge of low-voltage electricity that carried a most discomforting sensation. I practically squirm out of my skin, it's so intense. I take frequent breaks but as soon as I return to work, the tension comes back. As soon as I quit work, it goes away. What quick, working ways could you suggest that I might get rid of this uncomfortable feeling of tension as I work? Something short of going to a masseuese or going for a walk (I work at night), but rather a remedy or something that will help that is immediate.

Answers:
what about one of those massaging "chair seats" that go in either a car or a desk chair? I'd recommend one, putting it on heat and massage, and try to push yourself back into it while you're working.

Also, try some soothing music while you're doing that. Maybe just the stress of the workplace is getting too hectic for your body.

Good luck!

Get another job thats less stress or use isometric exercises all during the night on and off.Find out what is causing the stress in the first place. Afraid of being fired? Feeling inadequate? Have more sex, preferably before you go to work, lol.

U r not comfortable w/what U r doing. This a mental ordeal that is making itself known thru physical discomfort. Could it be that U hate your job?? Try closing your eyes, and breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth, about 4-5 times. Hope that helps.
