im a massage therapist, and what i can tell you is that you should be stretching your calves before and after your work out. take your time with the stretches, and not only calves but your entire leg. if the cramping still comes up than you can either ice the area for no longer than 10 minutes and do self massages, or if you would like to relax more, go to a massage therapist that specializes in sport massage. it really helps and relaxes your body.
