Question:

Answers:
Yes it is, your muscles are just going through a "protective" phase, they are trying to repair themselves were you had the injury.

Other Answers:
If you are worrried go and see your gp or telephone NHS Direct.

It's entirely normal to have a hard part in your groin. I wake up every morning with one. It is probably the blood clotting and forming a scab. If it starts to get painful go to the doctor

the skin is forming a scar, yes it seems normal but it if the area doesnt return to what you feel is "normal" in a week or two call your doctor.
for assurance, ask the dr when you get the stitches taken out !
good luck

i am often very hard at the top of my groin. lol!

go to the quack if you are worried.. get it checked.

You did not mention the stitches being from surgery or what procedure, but that hardness is called induration, and that is not normal. Especially when induration is accompanied by redness (erythema), tenderness/pain, or drainage. Follow up with your healthcare provider.
