I hurt my shoulder at work and im getting no answers of whats wrong with it!?

Question:
I was stupid enough to pull a piece of merchandise at work that was probbally 400+ pounds with my left arm. I worked with it for 3 weeks knowing that if i just pulled something that they wont do anything at the doctor. I finally went and the doctor sent me to a occupational therapist. When i went she insinuated that i was faking it because i hate my job. They barely looked at me and then passed me off to physical therapy. I can move my arm slightly but it feels like someones stabbing me inside my shoulder if i raise it in any direction before it was annoying but it's getting worse and worse. I don't know if the people im going to see alot of people trying to get out of work or what but if i waited that long to go in and im still in pain you would think they would take it more seriously. I know what a pulled muscle is like and it would just be sore but not where you can't raise your arm at all. I just feel like im getting passed around to delay the costs of a mri or surgery if needed.

Answers:
Torn rotator cuff, this may take some time to heal. with mild physical therapy to it and resting it in between it should get better. It sometimes requires surgery if it is too bad. Don't let them get away with fluffing you off this needs treatment. If necessary get a lawyer if they refuse to treat you. You can get one at no cost. this is a work injury. Entitled to workmens compensation. they can blow it out their ears if they don't like it, you have to take care of you. If you can't raise your arm without significant pain thats what it is. torn rotator cuff and may need surgical intervention and definately more tests if not getting resolved. Good Luck!!

Other Answers:
Probably.

Go to a real doctor. o.o
You may have dislocated it but it's best to get a second opinion from another doctor. Hope you feel better soon.
it's lazy too
You might have damaged the ligaments or may have developed Arthritis. Get the necessary investigation done, get properly diagnosed then only you can have correct treatment.
For God's sake go to your own family doctor. In some states, workers compensation insurance must pay for benefits for the injured worker to see up to three physicians. I have a feeling you may have a rotator cuff tear. Happens frequently in pushing or pulling heavy objects. Only a MRI can tell if you have this tear. Occupational physicians only worry about the bottom line of keeping costs low. Do not get pushed around-please don't let them push you around. You need to get an opinion so you can have proper treatment and have use of your arm for years to come.
sounds like you really strain or pulled it bad i would recommend seeing a orthopedic surgeon and get another opinion.
