how is an arterial occlusion in the arm treated?

Question:

Answers:
An arterial occlusionis a blood clot and can be treated in several ways the most common is with anticoagulants some people call them "Blood thinners" but this treatment does nothing that acts on serum viscosity . the chemicals in question actually interfere with the bodys natural ability to form blood clots in effect disolving them slowly. this therapy is done with coumidin or heparin. although there may be other drugs in use now. the other way is to remove it surgically, but this usually done if the clott is stopping the blood flow to something that is really necessary.

Other Answers:
It is my understanding that arterial occlusion is a treatment, not something to be treated. Arterial occlusion is generally drugs or other agents used to reduce or block the flow of blood to the liver in order to kill cancer cells growing in the liver. Unless i have read the question wrong.
