Where is the best place to find other handicapped individuals?

Question: I recently demolished my civic and became paralyzed from the incident. I live in a very small community, so its hard 2 find others with the same injury.

The internet! There's a medical board where you can meet other types of people with the same or more serious illnesses. They have boards, messages and blog sections as well.

Hey there I would look on the internet for the closest big city to you and then look up agencies by using the yellow pages and look for people with physical disabilities. Try looking up Paraplegics services, agencies for people who have had amputations etc...
