NEED SERIOUS HELP my arm in the matter..?

Question:
Flu shot crisis?
Help like my mom wants me to get a flushot and every single time i get one IT HURTS and I always get t he flu from it how can i discorage her form making me get one.

Answers:
I wuldn't get one myself. I'm healthy, my immune system is healthy, and I feel it is good exercise for my immune system to fight a few influenza viruses,
I work with a lot of people who do get them, but because there are differant strains of the flu, they end up catching one of those other strains anyways.
If you get excessive flu symptoms every time you get the flu shot you should ask a doctor if the shot is for you.
If you're healthy, eat right, exercise, and wash your hands regularily there is no reason to get one. Frequent handwashing, and using moisturizers so as not to trap bacteria in dry skin areas, is what prevents the spread of viruses the best. I don't know how you can convince her, maybe make an appointment with your family doctor and discuss it, then report back to Mom?
the reason why it hurts is because you tense up when the nurse or doctor gives the injection. If you got the fle it was probably only a mild form. However, most young adults do not nee the flu shot if their are not immune compromised. Rather drink a healthy cup of OJ every morning to keep your vitamin C up.
a bunch of people have told me that the flu shot hurts alot afterwards. r u sure you're getting the flu? other things are sometimes mistaken for it.
if you're not really old, really young, have a compromised immune system, or have respiratory problems, you're not a priority lol not to sound cold, but people can still die from it. if any of these apply to u.just listen to your mom.
