Sensitive Teeth?

Question:
I had my teeth cleaned and whitened, and my teeth are so sensitive, they hurt bad! Anyone know what can help, I tried floride and ambasol, oragel, I just dont know what else I can try.. any suggestion?

Answers:
this is a fairly common symptom after whitning teeth.use some sensitive toothpaste..brush with it and apply along the teeth with finger and just let it sit there for a while..

Go back to the dentist that treated you and tell them.

try warm water with salt it will help in case you have swollen gums Whitening teeth can cause moderate to extreme sensitivity. That's just normal because of the properties in whitening solutions. Even over the counter whitening is still too harsh for me. This should wear off soon for you. If you have sensitive teeth, I would not use any type of whitening solution unless it's for sensitive teeth. The only toothpast I can use now is for sensitive teeth. All others I can't tolerate.
