Soar Throat?

Question:
Im about to have a 4 hour drumline practice until 9pm in 30 minutes and i have a bad soar throat and cold/stuffy nose. How can I keep it cleared fast?

Answers:
Chloraseptic works great for a sore throat. A few sprays and your throat is numb. You can get it any drug store. If you don't want to make a trip to the store, you can heat up a cup of water and mix in a tsp. of salt until dissolved. Gargle it and your throat will feel better. Any decongestant should help with the stuffy nose, but it might take awhile.
Ahh omg I have strep throat and a runny nose. I don't know how to cure it though because whatever I take doesn't help. I guess try some allergy medicine for your runny nose and pain reducer pills for your throat. Everybody has this bug. :(

EDITT:: I was going to suggest that same thing the girl above me did but I didn't know how to spell it and I didn't want you to get the wrong thing and die, lol. but yeah.. try what she said.
I've never used anything better for my nose than Tylenol Sinus (or the cheap stuff: pseudoephedrine and acetaminophen.) The new stuff they're using to replace my usual pseudo- , "phenylephrine", really hurts my sinuses. Using an antihistimine or an expectorant can be risky if you don't really know what's wrong -- they could cause pain or make it worse if they aren't really needed -- so if I was you I'd use the Tylenol Sinus.

Most sore throat remedies are really short term, so the acetaminophen will work better in the long run, and a nice tall sprite will clear a lot of the irritants away. The lemon helps, and the drink doesn't get caught in the back of your throat like milk and other drinks will.
i would take cough medicine or buy some of that spray, that will help numb your throat untill you can treat it properly. Most of all when you can just rest your voice and throat and drink plenty of water.
