Contact lenses--Which do you like?

Question:

I've had different ones over the years--Cooper, Acuvue (2 and Advance), and I'm currently trying CIBA Optix. Does anyone like/dislike any of these more than any other? Really like another one?

I am nearsighted (no other problems) and use 2-week lenses. Thanks!

Contact lenses are funny things. Different patients have preferences for different ones. Everyone's eyes are different, we have different pH, different thickness of the tear film layers, etc. So what works for one may not work for another. But some contact lenses are fashioned for particular patients. There are those that tend to work better for patients suffering from dry eyes, those that are made to let more oxygen through (not related to helping with dry eye), etc.

the only ones ive ever used are acuvue 2 and ive been happy with them

acuvue color I wear Hard ones and i doesn't want to change. if you can wear them they're the best ones!

the ones with 7x more oxygen or something like that. i think its O2 something. i love them, they dont dry out like my other ones used to.

I use Acuvue Advance, 2 week lenses, but my astignatism has gotten much worse. Also, I'm noticing that I can't read as well so my eye doctor told me it's about time for bi-focals, so I will probably have to go to glasses soon.

Otherwise, I've been satisfied with Acuvue. i love my eye doctor, he has all these neat tests that measure you for just the right type of lenses

if you can wear the gas permeable those are the best but i like soft lenses myself

i don't remember what kind my old eye doctor had me try out but one split right down the middle while i was wearing them, couldn't figure out why my eye was itching/hurting till i took them out later that night

what ever they where they are in my file and i wont wear them again
