Diabetic Question?

Question:
I need to lower my sugar level QUICK what's the best way to do it??

Answers:
It's not going to happen fast--and if it did, the fluctuations might be as bad as the high level. Start eating sensibly--follow the diabetic diet, which stresses basically eating the foods on the pyramid, and spreading it out over the course of the day (three small meals and three small snacks). This will keep your blood sugar level from making dramatic swings one way or the other.

Other Answers:
don't eat anything, drink lots of water. It's not very easy to lower the blood sugar quick. If it is really high, I would go to the ER or call an ambulance.
eat a banana or take a metformin
Do a LOT of exericse. Stay away from Carbs. Pasta, bread, crackers, ect. Anything made with flour
Well first, if it's that high you need to seek out a doctor immediately-you maybe heading for DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis)-which hosts a variety of critical medical problems. Your doctor will recommend of course a healthy diabetic diet and a combination of oral hypoglycemics and/or insulin regimes until your blood sugars are stable. This will involve checking your blood sugars before all meals, at bedtime, sometimes during the night and taking the appropriate sliding scale doses of prescribed insulin. Diabetes causes multi-organ problems if left untreated-including retinopathy, blindness, kidney failure, heart failure, peripheral neuropathies, peripheral vascular diseases-just amongst a few. Get to your doctor!
