Y eye drops have to discard within a month ?

Question:

Answers:
You can't put preservatives in eye drops and they can be a great place for bacteria to grow and breed. The longer they are open and in use, the more likely they are to become contaminated with things you sure don't want to drop into your eyes. Better safe than sorry, so can the drops after a month. Prescription eye drops are discarded after you finish the prescription, and should never be kept for "the next time" or "just in case". Should also never ever share eye drops either.
Due to changes within the chemical compisition of the medication....usually takes longer than 30 days, but they are just being safe.....no to mention, the pharm companies are guarenteed more money if you have to repurchase their product every month.
