What would cause my lips to swell without an injury? I look like a duck.?

Question:

Answers:
Definitely an allergic reaction. It could have been something with which you had direct contact (eating, drinking, lipbalm, etc.), but not necessarily. That has happened to me (eyes too) two or three times in my lifetime and there was no common element that I could identify. It freaked me out tho, so I feel for you. Benedryl should take care of it.
btw, the last time it happened to me was almost 20 years ago, so maybe I'm in the clear now? good luck
