my lower back is really painful when standing if sitting to long any advice? paracetemol doesnt help and im br

make sure you check out the following things,

1) posture (sitting or standing)
2) how old is your mattress/bed, poor mattresses are the number 1 cause of back pain.
3) do you exercise? walking is a good form of exercise but make sure you stand tall, shoulders back
4) don't lift anything too heavy, if you have to make sure you keep your back straight and knees bent, don't bend over for anything!!
5) have you put on any extra weight? this will affect your balance and posture.
6) most doctors now offer free chiropractic advice on your first visit and give you an overall assessment. then you can "shop" around and find the cheapest/most suited chiropractor for you.
7) You can use paracetemol and ibruprofen together - i used one of each every 2 hours and it really helped!
8) TAKE TIME OUT TO RELAX AND CHILL OUT! have a bath, go for a swim, stress causes tension, especially in the neck and back!
9) check your chair/desk/height of your computer screen. I get a really stiff neck if my monitor is too low, which progresses to my back

it's just that you aren't working out that area enough. Try joining a gym cause they should have machines that work out this area and also stretch (trunk twists should work). Hope this helps and God bless you.
I would recommend seeing a physical therapist to access any muscles weakness or imbalance. After getting an educated opinion you should begin an exercise program that will strengthen the back and spine. You can't fix a physical problem with a chemical solution.

My Dear you may have constipation it can make the lower back quite painful. However the lower back is effected if you lift heavy bags. and also gardening bending and straining. Go back to when it started and think what you were doing prior to the pain.a Warm Bath is a wonderful just lie relax and top up with warm water and then lie for half an hour. I suffer the same problem. I have been told by my physio that pilates is one of the best exercises for back problems. Also see your doctor for some good pain killers.
If paracetamol isnt working. Go to your gp. Usually 7 days of diclofenac 75mg twice a day does the trick, or ibuprofen 3 times a day for a week. Make sure you dont suffer from stomach ulcers before taking any nsaids, or you will need cover with something like omeprazole. Physio will help.Gentle exercises like swimming. Maybe if you know what aggrevates it, not to do it so much. Loosing weight also helps relieve back problems. If its constipation: aggravates back pain - fybogel satchets will help / more fruits and water. Do not rest too much, being less active agrevates the problem too. Gentle walking for 30mins 3times a week.
you could have a curator in your back or it could be something else what ever it is go to your doctor you may get some help full tips from him and they should give you a sheet with exercises on because i get pain there and that's what they did with me
i had same problem my dr recomended steroid injections in the base of my spine which i had my mother also had the same injection although there is a slight risk as with any op. Ihad it done i had to have 3 days off work the pain was worse than before and the op hurt, it only lasts for 12 weeks and you have to have it redone, i was like a new person it was great no pain but i never had it done again it never came back as bad, so i am glad i did it but never again.
The human body actually isn't designed to sit for long periods of time. This puts a lot of stress on the body.

Ergonomic chairs, lumbar support pads, taking breaks to stand/stretch and walk around, will help. Exercise is also important as strong abdominal muscles help maintain good posture and a healthy back.

I had those same pains for a long time. I went to the chiropractor and it took alot of visits to get it back to normal. My sacroiliac joint was out; that is the joint articulating the sacrum and posterior hip bone. It grew to affect my middle back, due to the back muscles trying to compensate for the unbalance of my lower back. I guess my advice is it wouldn't hurt to check out the chiropractor and get some good shoes like some New Balances!
Stregthening your abdominal muscles will help relieve lower back pain as the vertebrae are better supported by the stronger abdominal muscles.
