laughing problems?
Question:
Answers:
Ever heard that old saying about one man's heaven being another man's hell? The stuff they're presenting on TV as funny is not all that good these days. Go and rent a copy of "Blazing Saddles" and enjoy a really GOOD movie. Better yet, go and rent a copy of "McLintock" (John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Stephanie Powers, Patrick Wayne, Jerry Van Dyke, and a whole host of others). It's timeless, and it's hilariously true, even today. Sit your friends down and have a "classic movie party" and pass the popcorn....Find out what makes YOU laugh and go with it. Don't worry about what your friends are laughing at. If it ain't funny to you, it ain't funny to you...What YOU like isn't neccesarily what makes THEM laugh. We all have our own backgrounds, and as such, things that are ironic to ourselves, based on our own experiences. If something made you hurt as a child, then it probably will trigger unhappy feelings deep down when it is presented as "funny." However, the ol' pie in the face is always a good one for a smile. Perhaps you are more "esoterical" in your humor. Find what is ironic to you and you will find your funny bone.
i will tickle you :)
