doing health Exercise in air condition atmosphere will have any different result than atmosphere temperature?

I tend to think so, but it also depends on the weather. I live in a place that is very humid and hot and the gym I go to has no a/c, just tall ceilings and fans. I usually do cardio for about an hour and have noticed that when I exercise in a controlled enviroment (where the air is cooler and dryer) not only do I end a little less tired but I can reach longer distances in less time.
