Answers:
eating is a human function so your problem isn't over eating it's something deeper because from your words you have been trying. habits developed in childhood and your teens years to help coop with stress are our major blocks to losing weight. Yet, these can be changed by totally altering way we view food. it's a friend when it's natural, organic and eaten before 1800hrs (6:00pm).
resturants & fastfood places have to off limits and home cooking has to take piority. stay away from sugar eat more fruit it natural sugar, taking vitamins as well as checking medications to see if they induce weight by slowing down the bodies ability to break down what you intake. Key to success is eat it today see it tomorrow being flushed.
find an excercise that is low impact and fun for 15 minutes every other day. Find picture in body building mags/everyday publications of body types you like replace the faces with a picture of you place them all around your home to remind you of your goal and replace some of them every 7 months.

Another Great Website on Eating Disorders:
Mirror-Mirror
Why yes i have, Unfortunately, my gull bladder needed to come out, so i ate accordingly to the fact of not being in pain. which included, eating small portions, low fat, low dairy, well balanced, every few hrs. I also always kept little snacks, IE...granola bars, pretzels, GOOD tasting protein bars, crackers, on me at all times. For i felt this helped me to feel somewhat satisfied so i wouldn't OVER eat when it was meal time. I am a compulsive over eater! but i was able to accomplish loosing 115LBS in a little over 1 year! the hard part is keeping it off, for i have gained quite a bit back, but am still at a decent weight and am still able to eat the same way, I always allowed myself the good things in life, but just a bite or 2! i also cut out soda, including diet for they blow up your belly, causing u to be more hungry! to me dairy high fat dairy, has no good value, its nothing but lard! I never gave up my carbs and if craved sugar, which was regularly, i had low fat candy such as tootsie rolls and yorks! it can be done, and its for your health benefit..Never give up! and don't think of it as a diet, diet are temporary....just change little by little...never extremely...extreme is due for failure! get rid of the BUTTER!!! u really don't need it! use olive oil instead! stay away from the YUMMY creamy salad dressing...they really serve no purpose! Low fat well balances is best...my plates consist of 1 protein, 1-2 non carb veggie, and a carb!!! i love my carbs....never could i give them up!!! best to ya, i hope this helped some!!!!OHHHHHHH AND DRINK ALOT OF WATER..and tell yourself FLUSHING THE FAT MAN FLUSHING THE FAT!!! it works trust me!!!!
What is the best way to get rid of "sand flea" bites? Or at least the itchiness of them?
Treatment for Compulsive Overeating
Treatment programs that address only the depression, will not be successful in breaking the cycle of compulsive overeating. The compulsive overeater needs treatment for both the clinical symptoms of depression, and the behavior of compulsive eating, to successfully end this vicious cycle.
The most effective weight loss programs are comprehensive: they combine diet, behavior modification (lifestyle change), nutritional education, exercise, medication (where appropriate) and long-term maintenance support.
As for pharmacologic treatment, compulsive overeaters are primarily treated with antidepressants. Psychological treatment, particularly cognitive/behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy, is as effective as antidepressants in the short-term. However, in the long-term, psychological treatment is more effective.
Recovering from compulsive overeating and losing weight are extremely difficult processes and requires long-term changes with professional guidance to help you learn new eating habits and maintain long-term weight loss.
