any medication taken in excess can cause liver problems if you are takin advil for chronic pain maybe talking to ur Dr he can give you an anti inflammatory that lasts longer so that you dont have to take so frequently Advil (ibuprofen) can affect your kidneys, Tylenol can affect your liver. Best thing to do is take as label directs.
