help i am having bad sinus problems?
Question:
Answers:
I have bad allergies and often have this problem. I have tried almost everything there is out there and what works best is taking Benedryl at night because it makes you very drowsy (it will dry up your sinuses) and those breathe right nasal strips. They really work and help to relieve your sinus pressure. Also, Shower Soothers--they are those tabs that you put on the floor of your shower and they open up your sinuses. Good luck!
Other Answers:
I am helped by putting hot moist packs on my cheeks and ears.
Roll your neck around--try to pop it to get it loose. You may need to see an allergist. You probably have sinus idis.
Try breathing and drinking hot tea. You could also try something like Vicks nasal spray, but if it gets worse you should see a doctor because you could have a sinus infection.
Also, does it hurt when you bend your neck forward. If so, you might have meningitis. In this case, go to the emergency room.
call your Dr, for the right kind of nasal spray for temporary use for you. Get in there to see your Dr soon to see if you have a sinus infection (green mucus is the best indicator for your self).Drink plenty of water to help break up the salts that hold the mucus together. Girl! That sounds serious. Something like that happened to me and it was an ifection. Try Nyquil drops for your nose, but I prefer you see a doctor.
