What is this green puss coming from my right eye?

My friends made me swim in the swimming area of a lake last night for about 30 minutes. I told them as I as getting out there was puss in my eyes but they called me a whimp. Could I have got an infection from this? Every few hours I can pull a hard piece of green stuff out of my eye, or it'll be a gooey piece.

Your vision is not something I'd mess around with (i.e. don't trust that you won't go blind because some guy on youqa.com said so). Go see a doctor (preferably an eye doctor).

sounds like you have a sinus infection ans the only way you can get rid of it is by taking antibiotcs it doesn't have to hurt now but it will make a doctor's appointment asap

Ok, now this stuff is natural. you know when you wake up and you wipe that stuff outta your eyes? Your eyes is cleaning itself out. So don't panic. If it was a infection, it would take longer than that, it would take at least 2 days for it to develop.

Get to a Doctor ASAP. It sounds like you need antibiotic drops and eyes are not something you should be fooling around with. You want to have them for the rest of your life. Next time wear goggles if you go swimming there again.

You have conjunctivitus! don't touch your other eye after even touching the the right eye! I was stupid enough to scratch both, and i couldn't see for a week!! trust me, go to the doctor, and tell him\her that you MIGHT have conjuntivitus!! IMEDIATELY!!

Taste it, if it is sweet then it is conjunctivitis. If it is salty then it is a sinus infection! For conjunctivitis try sulfur. For sinus infection eat broccoli.

It sounds like a eye infection..I would see a doctor and have them examine you..don't want to loose your eyesight?
