wats wrong w/ my hair?

Question: i started growing it 4 a year now. since i started braiding it the front sents 2b twice the lenght of the back. wat should i dont (w/o cutting or trimming)

I think maybe the brading could be pulling on the front of your hair, and I also have heard that the front DOES grow quicker (more sun maybe? lol). Whats wrong with having it trimmed there a bit? People that cut hair are supposed to be experts on this.
