I have an ulcer on my eye. That is what I was told at ER, what am I in for.?

Question:
I see a blured white cloud in my eye. should I be worried? I go to a specialist tomorrow and I'm a bit worried. I don't want this cloud in eye for the rest of my life.

Answers:
Corneal ulcers are not the end of your eyesight. I've had them before. Yes, a specialist is your best choice. Based on personal experience, he'll probably give you a cream antibiotic to apply daily for about a week. He may also put a patch over your eye for a day or two, to keep natural eye movements from irritating it further. Cheer up, you'll be good as new in a week.

They can correct it.Don't be worried. My son's girlfriend has them in both eyes.Good Luck! Go see your specialist, ask him or her questions and listen to what they say.

My daughter was recently diagnosed with a very rare eye disease, Punctate Inner Choroidopathy, PIC for short. I have learned about many things that can go wrong with eyes, and have great respect for the doctors who fight to save our eyesight. Wow htat doesn't sound too good! Go see an eye specialist, opthamologist. I'm sure that they will have a solution to your problem. All the best to you.
