I have really low iron and hyperthyroidsim?
Question:
Answers:
Yes yes and yes. Low Iron (Anemia) and Hypothyroidism can bring on ALL those sypmtoms. If your on meds for it you need to go back to your doctor so he/she can check your levels and raise your levels. Good luck!
Low iron causes headaches, nausia and fatigue. They are also symptoms of pregnancy. I leaned that because everyone including myself thought my iron was low but it turned out I was pregnant!
Black strap molasses is a great source of iron.
As far as chest pains that can be a number of things like anxiety.
I do not know anything about hyperthyroidism.
Yes most definately both could be the culprits!
That is a weird combo. I feel sorry for you. The low iron will definately make you fatigued, cold, lack of concentration, and perhaps chest pains.
But the hyperthyroid is the complete opposite, heat intolerance, hot flushed skin, fluish feelings, exercise intolerance, rapid heartbeat(chestpains)
I'm not suprised you are a wreck. You need to see a good specialist. Good Luck.
Your dose of thyroxine or synthroid may be too high. If its not monitored closely you may have these symptoms. You should contact your DR. Take some blood tests and reevaluate your meds.
