Tetanus question! Would getting poked by a clean (un-used) staple be cause for a tetanus shot?

Question: I was pulling apart my stapler and one of the staples poked me, actually a good bit went into my thumb. I haven't had a tetanus shot since I was a teenabger so I am sure I would be out of date ( I am now 23, I dont remember when they were required back then) Should I go get a tetanus shot tomorrow?
