Could a underactive thyroid be causing headaches?

Question:
My co -worker has had one since 7/4

Answers:
It could, but not directly. An underactive thyroid condition occurs when the thyroid gland fails to produce sufficient amounts of the thyroid hormones that help regulate the body’s metabolism.
A lack of these hormones decreases metabolism, causing symptoms such as weight gain, tiredness, depression, poor concentration, dry skin and constipation – Tiredness and depression will automatically trigger off headaches. Its a vicious circle, where one thing leads to another. She has my sympathy..
