hey how long does it take a navel piercing to get well?

Question: well everybody i did a piercing in march and its still sore, i decided to take out the navel ring yesterday, i did for my birthday which was march 17 and never took it out cause i wanted it to get better but it did not, so can any one tell me how to treat it?

It took mine about 5 to 6 months, but only after I changed the ring to a bar, after the change It healed real quick

If you live by the ocean go swimming in it.the water helps heal it. I got mine done and went to the ocean and it healed real quick.
