I bite my nails...?

Question:
When I'm nervous I bite my nails. I've tried everything...even that stuff that makes your nails taste bad but I can't use it cos I throw up if a put it near my mouth...I know that's the point, but I can't even eat stuff like candy or chips with my hands without puking...How can I stop biting my nails without using that stuff?

Answers:
i just quit biting my nails 4 weeks ago and now my nails are neat clean and long and it feels so good , what really helped me stop is when i discovered there are nasty things stuffed inside your nails and when you bite it you eat it and it can make you very sick, you know how you are disgusted right now bring that feeling back everytime you feel like chewing your nails.
It's a bad habit just try to stop. It's hard though when your addicted to do something like that repeatably over.
Never watch your hands after the bathroom.
Just tell yourself not to. And start cutting (no pun intended) back as much as you can. It worked for me.

Try getting a stress ball, or something along those lines to fill in that void.
get a nice manicure then you won't want to mess it up so you won't bite them. it may take a couple manicures before it works but it worked for me
