Left ear problem ?

You can take care of ear wax on your own. Put a drop of mineral oil in your ear, and the wax will "melt" away.
You may find that once you have the right ear cleaned - you'll NOTICE the left one more. Right now the right is taking precedence. My advice is to get both done - but don't just take a Q-tip and go digging!! Having your ears "cleaned" by a doctor may involve flushing (it's gross and you hear water sloshing around for days! lol)
Have you ever heard of Ear Candling? It's a nifty PAINLESS procedure that I get done at the same salon where I get my hair cut. You lie on your side on a table and they use this special hollow candle and light one end, placing the unlit side against the opening in your ear and gently rub around the ear to help loosen and relax you. I don't pretend to understand just how it works, but supposedly the smoke from the burning candle draws the gunk out of your ear into the candle. It takes about 30 minutes per ear. When you're all done, they cut the candle open to show you all the nasty stuff that was pulled out of your ear. And WOW! It really works! And it's SO soothing and relaxing! I wear hearing aids, so my ear wax production is a little more than normal. I have this ear candling done once every three or four months. My salon charges $30 for both ears.
Good luck!!
It's highly probable, and only logical, that you have wax build up in both ears, unless you've been drawing it out yourself only from the right ear, and have a heavy build-up in the left. Wax usually gets deposited more or less equally in each ear, I presume. Probably your left ear FEELS like having more wax because the deposit irritates you more than it does in the right ear. Where it matters is when professionals make error of judgment. Either the doctor (ENT?) or his assistant has gone wrong. Make your worries/suspicions/doubts known in no uncertain terms to the doctor. Ask him to explain. In spite of all this, there's not much to worry about. Usually the procedure involves application of a medication like Waxolve, leaving it for a day and then removing the wax using suction pumps.
look Martin it probably took you longer to type this question than it would to call a doc and make an appointment to get both your ears cleaned.GET THE WAX OUT DUDE! one thing to think about is skin cancer in your left ear be aware that if you drive a lot you could get this ailment from the sun magnifying through the side window of your truck, car etc... if you find this to be the case then get an appointment with a dermatologist quickly and don't let this linger because this is dangerous stuff.Keep yourself tuned up when you get older you will thank yourself you did.
