Just asking cause a glass bowl fell on it but didn't break the bowl but my foot hurts a bit.

Not sure what you mean by underneath. The great toe comprises two phalanges, a distal (end segment) and a proximal. The proximal articulates with the distal phalanx and with the first metatarsal. The body of the foot comprises 5 metatarsals, each of which articulates proximally with a tarsal (ankle bone) and distally with a proximal phalanx (toe bone).
