Why dose it take so long to see anybody when your hurt?

Question:
Like when you go throw the E.R. you be setting there for about 2 hours whats up with that?

Answers:
When u go to the ER you are seen in triage, then you are seen based on how hurt or serious your condition. Plus ambulances call ahead and bring people directly into the ER and they get priority.

It also depends on what type of trauma level the hospital has, level 1 handles the most serious cases there fore they are usually very busy, and if they are busy patients with less serous chief complaints will have to wait for a while. Trauma levels 2 and 3 are sometimes faster but it depends on how many ER s are in your town. The less emergency services your town has the longer you prob have to wait due to patient volume.
