i recently got stiches on my left leg cause i fell, right below my knee cap about 2 - 3 inches long (19 stitches) i can't bend my knee, only to a certain point, it feels very stiff. just wondering if this has happned to anyoneee? and will it be back to normal when i get them out on monday or will i need to see someone about it?
Answers:
your knee is swollen even if it shows no signs of it on the outside. put ice on it to reduce the swelling. your range of motion will be minimal for about a week or so but then it will start getting better.
you could have maybe chipped a bone, get followup xrays.
my guess is that it will still be sore and stiff when you get them out. Try some physical therapy, professional kind, you don't want the incision to open again.
