My blood and my tatoo?
Question:
Answers:
I think its like 1 year.
When you get a tattoo you have to wait one year from the date you got the tattoo before you can donate blood.
You should be able to donate about 9 months after. That's what the Red Cross in NY told me, but that was also during a time where they were all but out of blood.
No...you will be able to give blood eventually. I had a coworker once that had gotten a tatoo and she told me how long she had to wait before donating blood. However, I can't remember how long she said. Just get in touch with your local Red Cross and they can tell you how long.
u cant donate because of the risk or contaminated blood. u might have gotten HIV or some other virus cuz of the needles the tattoo artist used. even if u didnt doctors wont allow u to donate cuz of the risk factor. even if u get rid of the tat u wont be able to cuz u already had a tat. sorry!
12 months, as long as you do not have any new piercings or tattoos since the first tattoo.
you can in like 6 months to a year i think.
I would worry less about being unable to donate blood and worry more about the reason that they won't take you; tattoo shops are full of HIV. Get yourself tested.
