I have been suffering from severe food related migraines for almost 16 years now, and have tried everything you listed, and a ton more.
And though, most do alright, with dealing with the onset of the migraine, nothing has actually dealt with helping me to get fewer of them.

..With Topamax, having just started about 3 weeks ago, i am floored, with the response.
I'm not going to brag on it too much at the moment, *knock on wood*
But i am going to say, so far so good! *whew*
None of these sound familiar but Imitrex (sumatriptan succinate) knocks mine out in about 20 minutes. I used to have to go to emergency room they were so bad.
Ive had migraines all my life and have never taken anything prescription for them. I find that the only way to get rid of them is sleep them off and I find Excedrin (which has caffeine,Tylenol,and aspirin in it) along with a couple of benadryl (to put me to sleep) helps more than anything else Ive tried. There are several prescription drugs on the market but as a nurse I haven't really seen many of them do anymore than my Excedrin and benadryl.

good luck
I took Topamax for a few weeks and was very sorry I ever did. At first I thought it was my miracle for migraines, but I traded them in for every other side effect there was. I started out feeling dizzy and nauseas. Then I felt depressed, anxious and couldn't sleep. To top it all off, my dr's left me on it, not paying any attention to my body not responding right, and I developed a rare hearing condition (constant sensitivity to sound), which finally has ceased. 7 months later I will never be the same from that drug. I have met many people who have had topamax change their life for the better, but all of which take meds to fix their side effects from topamax. Which doesnt sound right to me. I have tried a lot of "preventative" meds and can 100% say that I believe in aborting the migraines with triptyns such as imitrex or maxalt. Good luck!
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.
